GIVEAWAY ENDED JULY 31st, 2017.

Congratulations to Jerry Sleeper of North Highlands, California!

They don’t say, “Built Ford Tough” for no reason at all. Take a look at either of these trucks and you will know exactly what Ford is talking about. We wanted to build a tough truck that was capable of doing it all, and the Ford F-450 is the perfect platform to do so. Both Thunder (black) and Lightning (silver) are powered by the 6.7 Liter Power Stroke and driven by a TorqShift® Heavy-Duty 6-speed SelectShift™ Automatic transmission to make sure you are going to be able to tow anything and everything.

We started off with an RK Hood and ECOTINT Headlights to give the front end the slick look a good work truck should have. Then we threw in a Mile Marker 15K winch just in case your friends run into a sticky situation, and need you to bail them out. Both of these beasts would make light work of any recovery.

THUNDER OR LIGHTNING?WHICH WOULD YOU CHOOSE?

When it comes to suspension, ReadyLift was definitely the way to go. Both received a custom 6” suspension lift to make it the perfect height for not only towing, but also as a daily driver.

Thunder is driving on 24 inch American Force wheels with Fuel Gripper M/T Tires, 37 x 13.5 R24, to give you a tough durable look, and the grip you need, whether on pavement, or on the backroads. Lightning is running on American Force front wheels with Military Beadlocks on the rear, wrapped up in Continental Tires, 355 x 85 R20, to get you through the mud, snow, sand, whatever terrain you throw its way.

WINNER GETS THEIRCHOICE OF EITHER OFTHESE DREAM TOW RIGS

While Thunder has the stock bed with the fifth wheel hitch, Lightning went a different route. Our friends over at Bradford helped us custom build a flatbed that gives the lightning that true work truck feel. Both trucks are sporting a Bullet Proof Hitch, which is rated up to 22,000 pounds. You are going to be able to tow anything you want with that type of towing capacity.

The stock 6.7 Powerstroke is a great motor and did not need many upgrades. That being said we threw on an Edge Jammer Intake to help that big work motor breath and take in the necessary air to get the job done. We then installed the Edge CTS 2 Insight to help monitor all of the trucks workings.

Now for the best part! You’ve got a chance to win one of these beasts! Every $5 spent on one of the sites below will earn you one automatic entry to win. But you only have until July 31st, so what are you waiting for?
